How to Stay Ahead of the Curve on Lead

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control has estimated that 24 million U.S. homes contain deteriorated lead-based paint and elevated levels of lead-contaminated house dust.

We know that lead hazard assessment and abatement requirements are a critical environmental management issue for our clients in the building management and construction industry.

The report is an affirmation of the need for collaboration among government entities, private property owners, and parents to reduce kids' exposure to lead paint in housing and adjacent soil. It re-emphasizes the costly health impacts of lead, and re-states the U.S. commitment to continuing to reduce the incidence of lead exposure for all kids.

Are you up to date on U.S. & State regulations with respect to lead? Do you understand your responsibilities?

KEM can help determine if lead testing and/or abatement may be necessary. We help our clients prioritize the areas that need to be addressed, and design an assessment & abatement plan (including cost estimate) to meet each property's specific circumstances.
